Our Services

At Eagles' Nest Clubhouse, we offer a range of supportive services to our community members, including counseling, vocational support, education, wellness activities, and social events. Our goal is to provide a safe and welcoming space for individuals facing mental health challenges to connect, learn, and grow.
Work Ordered Day

ENC is open from 8 to 4 to emulate the typical work ordered day.  We use punch cards to get into the habit of punching in and have our morning meetings.  We separate into two units for the day.

The charm about clubhouse is that it is run by the members.  Staff sit back and watch, assisting as needed but it is we the members who keep our clubhouse running.  This gives us a sense of empowerment and confidence.  No matter what skills you might have, we have a use for everything.  From techies to artists and even those into culinary arts.

Our Business Unit is all about the business side of things.  Our Monthly Newsletter, Social Media, Podcasts, Spreadsheets, Finances, ect.

Our Hospitality Unit is all about outreach and support.  Daily lunch, birthday cards, get well cards, peer support, cleaning, ect.

In the afternoon we have meetings as well.

Participation in clubhouse is voluntary.  You come only when you want to, and you do only what you want to.
Vocational Support/Transitional Employment

We offer Transitional Employment opportunities to help those who have never worked or who may have worked before to find work.  These opportunities can eventually evolve into full-time employment.
Transportation

We can arrange transportation through Modivcare for those who need it.  Modivcare is covered through MaineCare.
Member Stories

“I used to be isolated for decades and when I joined ENC I started to come out of my shell and discover my potential.  I love how accepting and understanding all the members are.  I don't have to pretend to be someone I'm not in order to fit in here.”  LLH

"My name is Nicholas Splan, I have been a member of Eagles Nest for about a year and two months, however I have been in the clubhouse community for eight years. Clubhouse has a big place in my heart, and I can’t thank it enough. This last year at Eagles Nest has been really fun and I hope you can come visit us at some point."  Nick

"Clubhouse provided me with inspiration for the hobbies I enjoy such as writing and drawing.  Having people view my work has helped me grow.  Clubhouse also provides friends who value my contributions and presence.  ENC is a friendly environment and I really like the people here."  Kevin Cushing

"Clubhouse provided me with support with housing, education, and even getting into Job Corps."
