1. What is a Clubhouse?​
The clubhouse is a peer run mental health recovery program. There are 6 Clubhouses statewide and many more worldwide. The focus is a word ordered day and peer support. We offer transitional, supported and independent employment as part of our program. We are connected with Vocational Re​hab and various educational opportunities for ongoing support.

2. What are the hours/days of Operation?
Monday - Friday 8AM - 4PM. We also have various after-hours events. Like game night once a week at ENC from 2-4 PM. We also have an online game night at 9 PM to 11 PM on Saturday via a member-run Discord server. We will be changing current hours to 7 AM to 3 PM from Dc. 1st to April 30th, 2025 for the safety of staff, members and transportation providers. This will be reversed at the start of May.

3. Can we be a mailing address?
No, we cannot. We serve a lot of people who are homeless. This question comes up a lot, but we will help with housing applications or other resources to help you get an address.

4. What are the requirements for membership? What insurance do we take?
Requirements for membership are simple and easy. We need a Mainecare and mental health diagnosis, a social security number, a Locus assessment and a desire to work with staff and members side by side in the daily operation of the Clubhouse. We are working to get Grants to take private insurance and other resources.

5. Do we offer lunch?
Yes, we do. It is $2.00 for the meal of the day, $1.00 for leftovers and salad, We have a snack shack which has additional drinks and snack options nor offered with lunch.

6. What other Services do we offer?
WE ARE NOT CLINICAL. We offer assistance to get into higher education or getting GEDs, employment opportunities and wellness while working with peers, staff or independently.

7. Is attendance mandatory?
No, membership is voluntary and without time limits. Come and go as you please.

8. Do we offer referrals?
Yes, for members, we can help with referrals for housing, case management, and anything else that is needed.

9. Do we provide transportation?
We rely on Modivcare and Downeast Community Partners mainly for al transportation. On occasion we can provide additional transportation with our van but only if it is necessary and if stranded.

10. Is there a membership fee?
No, there isn't. It is all free and without dues.

11. Can I be forced to participate?
No you cannot, but you are encouraged to jump into the work ordered day. You will get out of it what you put into it.

12. Are we open on Holidays?
Yes, we are open on all major holidays celebrated by Clubhouse International for a minimum of 4 hors but can be a full day. Holidays include: Christmas, New Years, Thanksgiving, 4th of July, and Labor Day.
